What certifications does Myzel hold?

Our powders are Certified Organic, Kosher, and Halal, and produced in an SQF certified facility. They are also naturally gluten-free and non-GMO. See our quality standards.

What is included in your full-spectrum powders?

Our powders are whole, full-spectrum ingredients that retain mycelium, fermented organic sorghum substrate, and species-appropriate later growth stages, such as primordia or fruiting bodies where applicable. Nothing is isolated out.

Quality and documentation

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

Yes. Every batch comes with a COA. Testing includes microbial testing, heavy metals, pathogens, moisture, and water activity. See our quality standards.

Do your mushroom powders undergo third-party testing?

Yes. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for composition, safety, active compounds, contaminants, and moisture. Separately, we also validate the identity of our mushroom cultures through third-party DNA testing, so you can be confident every species is exactly what it’s labeled as. See our quality standards.

We supply in flexible bulk quantities to suit your formulation and volume. MOQs apply and vary by species and order type. Contact us for details on your requirement.

Positioning and education

Do you offer mushroom extracts or full-spectrum powders?

We specialize in full-spectrum whole mushroom powders. We do not produce extracts, because the whole mushroom matrix supports a more complete nutritional profile.

How is full-spectrum different from an extract?

Extracts use a solvent, usually hot water or alcohol, to pull out only the compounds that dissolve into it. Anything not water or alcohol soluble is left behind. Full-spectrum powders keep the entire nutrient matrix. In simple terms: extract is isolated nutrients, full-spectrum is whole-food nutrients. Many brands choose extracts for high beta-glucan claims. Our partners choose full-spectrum for beta-glucans plus a wider range of bioactives and a cleaner ingredient story.

Why source functional mushrooms from Canada?

Canada has some of the strictest agricultural and food safety regulations in the world. Buyers choose Canadian suppliers for reliability, safety, and transparent oversight. Myzel ships internationally and supports partners who want a clean, traceable supply chain. Our sustainability approach.
